Is Gray Hair Beautiful
Gray hair can be beautiful and stylish, depending on your own thoughts about it. And it can certainly be hidden as well.
No matter what age you are, gray hair is going to come some day. As you age, the pigment-producing substances in your hair begin to shut down, leaving your hair without its color. Gray or white hair brings new challenges with them. But the solutions are simple and can give you stylish, attractive locks.
Often times, even a few gray hairs end up being wiry and practically standing at attention. What’s the solution? Pluck ’em. Gray hair tends to be more dry and brittle. If you have a sleek style, they can stand out like porcupine quills. If you don’t have many, you can simply pull them out.
Don’t worry, two more won’t grow in its place. Just another wive’s tale. The speed at which you gray is different than anyone else. If you go gray quickly, it may seem as though multiple new gray hairs grow in every time you pluck one, but they would grow in whether you plucked or not.
If you’re ready to start coloring your gray hair, whether you plan on doing it yourself, or have it done professionally, there are tips on what works best. Call me about your color choices. A lot of women find that a shade or two lighter than their natural color or something close to their childhood color works well.
If you have too much gray hair to pluck but it is evenly distributed and your natural hair color is still predominant, I may be able to blend the gray in with highlights or lowlights.
